I literally solidified my attendance at this conference last night at 5:30PM. Hence my blog post from yesterday- I still hadn’t found out about this great news. Less than 12 hours later, I was on my way to the airport! Can you say change of plans much? Here are some snippets of my day….
Once landed in Boulder, the sister and I met up with my parents and brother in the Denver airport. They were flying in from Milwaukee. Our game plan was to drive to Boulder and make a quick pit-stop to check out the Marriot where the conference is being held and then grab a quick bite to eat before the start of the conference.
We ate at Zolo Southwestern Grill
We started off with chips and salsa.
For my main course, I had White Bean and Spinach Tamales.
After lunch, I was off to get my blog on at the conference while the rest of the family took on the task of apartment hunting. Here is the schedule of my day:

This was my plate. I was VERY impressed! All of this was gluten and dairy free. Not to mention fresh as can be and made without oil or butter. YES PLEASE.
Wish I had time to write more, but this girl needs sleep. I have an early wake up call! GOOD NIGHT
So…… here’s how it happened.
-Friday Morning: Lee finds out about the Fitness and Health and Bloggers Conference going on this weekend and tweets that she is upset that she will coincidentally be in Boulder at that same time.
-Friday Mid Morning: Lee receives a tweet from an AMAZING blogista letting her know she had to give up her full scholarship (which paid the full tuition for the conference) and that she would be happy to transfer it to my name.
-Friday Mid Mid Morning: Lee is freaking out with excitement
-Friday Afternoon: Lee e-mails the conference coordinator, pleading her case.
-Friday Night: Lee receives a phone call from the conference coordinator with an INVITE TO THE CONFERENCE.
-Friday Night Night: Lee begins to dance and sing and jump and prance.
