I bet you are wondering where all the raisins are. Well, I’m takin’ a break from those wrinkly little guys. Just a short one, no worries. (As some of you may know, sometimes I go a little overboard with the raisins). Anyways, the reason I like Overnight Oats so much is because my breakfast takes all of 30 seconds to prepare.
30 seconds to prepare, 60 seconds to eat. Which reminds me, I need to start eating slower. I tend to scarf my food in a matter of minutes, which often times leaves me with a tummy ache. I also read an article the other day on how eating slower is better for your metabolism. Any thoughts?
The recipe for this breakfast is quite simple. 1/3C rolled oats + 1/2T chia seeds + 1C water. I cooked it in the micro for a about 2 minutes and then threw it in the fridge over night. This morning I topped it with sliced nanner and 1T almond buttah.
With a breakfast like this, how could you have a crappy day?!
Are you a fast eater or a slow eater?
