The gang and I left for the slopes at 7AM and arrived in just under 2 hours. Vail Village was one of the most surreal places I have ever been to. I felt like I was in a movie. Not to mention, it was in the lower 50′s hence my light ski apparel.
We had a similar spread to the day before. Lots of veggies, fruit, trail mix, deli meat, etc. A full day of skiing = one hungry girl.
After lunch we headed back out onto the slopes. As opposed to doing the greens we headed for the blues and ungroomed bowls. UNGROOMED BOWLS.
After breakfast B and I walked around the 28th street mall for a few hours until we headed back to the sister’s apartment to meet for lunch. Blake had a earlier flight than me, so after he left for the airport the rest of the crew went to Alfalfa’s where we indulged in their hot bar. Check out what I got: Sliced turkey, teriyaki roasted sweet potatoes, and Mediterranean brown rice salad.
Clearing that plate was not a problem. After lunch we headed to a park for some walking/hiking. I’m not exactly sure where we went, but it got my heart rate up.
I got a little in to my photography this weekend and was stripped from my camera. “Lee, now you know how it feels to constantly get your picture taken!”
It was a lovely afternoon. My friend Aaron and I were on the same flight back to Minneapolis and had smooth travels. We got right through security and even arrived a half and hour early!
