I’ve never made stir fry with pork before, usually just chick, shrimp, or beef, but after scoring a really good deal on frozen stir fry veggies, I knew it would be tasty.
I whipped out the bag of frozen veggies and diced up a few pork chops. Then, I partially steamed the veggies before I added some EVOO and the meat, along with some additional stir fry sauce.
And delicious! We even used our leftover brown rice!
This took all of 10 minutes to make and was almost as good as New China, my favorite chinese restaurant in my hometown. You would have never guess that the meat was from the night before.
Have I ever mentioned that chinese food is my choice of ethnic food? MAN. I love stir fries. One of my favorite restaurants in the Twin Cities is called Ginger Hop and makes the most amazing Chicken Basil Stir Fry. MMmm!
What I don’t like about chinese food restaurants, is that you never know what they put in that stuff or how much oil they use! Also, most places don’t serve brown rice either, which I prefer hands down.
All in all it was a good meal, even though 3/4 of it was leftover and the other 1/4 was frozen!
