Now that I have a big girl job, fashion is kind of a big deal. Although we don’t have a “strict” dress code at work, I try (TRY) to put together a cute outfit every day.
Fall in Minnesota is quite perfect. I refer to it as sweater weather because it’s not to warm and not too cold. I love wearing neutral colors, mixing and matching textures, and of course rocking the skinny jeans + boots look. I have more scarfs than a person should own and wear the same pair of boots practically every day (isn’t it usually opposite?). Here’s a typical fall look for me…
(1) An oversize sweater is cute yet comfortable and balances out (3) skinny jeans/jeggings. I absolutely adore (2) circle scarfs; they can make a boring sweater/shirt look adorable!
(5) When it comes to the boot department, I turn to my Merrells. I’m not one to spend a lot of money on clothes, but I truly believe everyone should own a good pair of boots! Living in Minnesota, it’s important to have boots that are both insulated and made with a durable sole. Chilly MN temperatures also call for some (4) extra insulation…wool socks! Finally, (6) I like to rock a pair of cute shades to remind me that winter doesn’t last forever.
