Monique and I have been friends for a couple of years. We met online (like most of my friendships :P), but were able to bond over nut butter and froyo in real life because at the time, Monique lived in Minneapolis. Now M lives in Chicago, but back in March, life brought us back together on the blogging cruise trip we both went on. That’s where this little idea blossomed into reality.
We decided to pull together to create this amazing program because, why the heck not!? Summertime can sometimes mean cheat days go from 1 to 2 and workouts go from 5 days a week to 3 or 4. Every Sunday starting June 14th, we’ll bring you a new week of meal plans (and grocery lists) and workouts! There’s an active Facebook group that you can join to help you stay motivated and connected during the entire 6 weeks. You’ll have the opportunity to meet others in the challenge, ask us questions, and share your favorite tips and tricks to stay healthy. Plus- there will be spontaneous giveaways.
We partnered with the amazing PEC Minneapolis to develop 6 whole weeks of amazing workouts that focus on shredding calories, burning fat, and building muscle. Danielle and Drew are THE BEST trainers I’ve ever trained with and Im excited for you to get cremated by their workouts #truth
These workouts are for all levels. There will be both progressions and regressions, which tailor the workout to anyone! I’ve already done some of them myself…you guys, get ready. Monique and I made sure to photograph each workout to give you the best step by step instruction possible and the ability to save the workouts to your phone to take with you to the gym! SCORE!’
Monique and I have all of the healthy eats covered. With almost 5 years of healthy recipes on FFF and AK, you guys are going to be eating like queens! We’ve put together 6 different weeks of meal plans fully equipped with a grocery list and printables to make it easy peasy to get started. As always, these meal plans can be easily modified to your dietary and caloric needs. We really tried to focus on high protein meals, lots of fruits and veggies, and limited sugar. As always, our recipes are easy to create, delicious, and made with real food…because real food rules.
