It is time to start thinking about holiday meals! Add any of these healthy holiday side dishes to the menu for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, or any holiday!
The holidays are HERE! Whether you are ready or not. I love the holidays (this is Linley:) because I love any reason to get my people around a table and to have the opportunity to feed them tasty and healthy food.
My family has always had tasty staple side dishes when it comes to the holidays, but as I’ve gotten older, it has been fun to add new dishes to the menu. I have also loved trying to do two or three courses to a holiday meal so that you can start with a tasty soup or salad. Whether you are looking for a spin on a classic side dishes or if you want to add something totally new to the menu, we’ve got something for you.
These are healthy side dishes for whatever holiday you celebrate! I don’t believe you have to sacrifice flavor for healthy options during the holiday season. Yes, you will still see some butter in our holiday recipes, but you will also see healthy substitutions for white sugar, fried foods, canned veggies, heavy cream, and more!
We have also pulled in some of our favorite recipes by other bloggers we love. So, get crackin’ and enjoy perusing these tasty Healthy Holiday Side Dishes!
