Short Rib Ragu

what you need:

Short ribs Spices Olive oil Beef broth Red wine Tomato paste Diced tomatoes Pasta

Season Meat

First, place your short ribs on a baking sheet. Then, season with your spice mixture.

Sear Meat

Add olive oil to a Dutch oven and heat over medium/high. Sear meat for 2-3 minutes on each side.

Deglaze Pot

Deglaze the pot with broth. Then, add onion, garlic, tomato paste, anchovy paste, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.

Transfer

Transfer the sauce and beef short ribs into your slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours.

Shred Beef

Once the beef is nice and tender, remove it and shred the beef with 2 forks. Put it back in the slow cooker and mix.

Serve

Serve your short rib ragu with your favorite pasta or mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
