Bloggity Makeover

Guess what I did all day? BLOG MAKEOVER! As you can see I get bored of my bloggity headers pretty quickly. I wanted something a little bit “cleaner” looking. What I should have been doing all day was homework, did I do any? nope.

C’est la vi.

Instead, I utilized my Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills. (bout’ the only thing I truly got out of one year of design school). Not that my skills are anything special, but it is nice that I have the access to the programs whenever I desire.

So, what’s new?

[1] My header. If you’ve been reading along with FFF, you probably know my growing obsession with yoga, hence the Dandayamana Dhanurasana.

[2] Social Media Widgets (courtesy of Brett, my favorite Blogger Techie). I am working on creating a facebook page. Do you follow bloggers via facebook? or do you follow them on Twitter? or neither?
[3] “My Philosophy” Page. Remember at the beginning of the week I set a goal of having this page complete by the end of spring break. SUCCESS! Check it out!
[4] Blog layout/colors/fonts: FFF just didn’t look right to me. Like I said before, the options for picture sizes on Blogger are some what limited. Because I use XL photos, they were floating outside of the column marks. I switched from a 3 column to a 2. What do you think? Do you like my old layout better or the new one?

Anyways, now on to an exciting recipe! While I was down in Austin, I posted a St. Patty’s Day recipe over at Check out this post for the full recipe.
Avocado Hummus

This recipe is extremely simple to make! All you need are a few ingredients and a food processor. This hummus spread whipped up in under a minute. I think we ate this just as fast as it took to make :)
How cute would it be to serve this hummus at a party in avocado halves! It is the perfect size for a single serving and nothing goes to waste! Am I too excited about this idea? ….I think it’s pretty innovative if you ask me :)

I have some bad news for you. My hotel never found my lost camera battery :(

I have some good news for you…I purchased one off of Amazon for a whopping $3.00! It should be in my possession within the next couple of days. I can not wait; I feel like a part of me is missing without my camera!
