Bubbly Almond Butter+ Bradenton Beach Recap

I’ve been refraining to show you this recipe.

Because I’d pop one of the bubbles and another one would show up. Then I’d pop that bubble and two more would show up.

Arr.

This just shows how impatient I really am when it comes to food photography (or anything really)! I love instant feedback. I make something, I take a picture of it. And then I’m done.

I literally could have waited 5 minutes for the almond butter to settle in this cup, but once an impatient child, always an impatient child.

What I really wanted to tell you about this recipe is that it’s made from 1 ingredient: ROASTED ALMONDS!

All you need is about 1.5 cups of roasted, salted almonds and a food processor. About 1.5-5 minutes later, you get ooey, gooey, bubbly, Almond Butter!

My latest snack fad is a small corn tortilla with a smudge of almond better. MMM, love it!

Are you ready for some more Florida Pics?

I stayed on Anna Maria Island in between a bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Literally, this island was no more than 5 blocks wide, I had a double ocean view!

Blake and I went down to Florida for his step sister’s wedding! The ceremony was on the beach and the reception was at a small venue with lots of dancing!

The rest of the week was spent on the ocean! Blake and I actually ended up working Mon-Tues-Wed from Florida so we didn’t have to take PTO. Ohh the joys of a flexible job (love it!)

The first night, there was an AMAZING sunset.

I think we got ice cream every single night. That means 7 days in a row. Uhh, moderation?

We found it rather interesting that there were so many ice cream places. Every where we went, there was ice cream. Very little fro yo. However, I did manage to find a place in Sarasota!

My favorite Ice Cream Joint was Joe’s Eats and Sweets. The runner up was Tyler’s Homemade Ice Cream.

Food Wise- We probably ate in about 60% of the time. It was nice because we had a full kitchen, so we were able to save a lot of money by making our own meals. Here’s some tacos we had one of the nights!

The other 40% was spent eating at local Bradenton Beach places. One of the highlights was “Gluten Free Bakery- Cafe.” MMMM HM! It’s not very often you run into a place called Gluten Free Bakery- Cafe.

Where have you been all my life? I got me a giant Blueberry Scone.

Workout Wise- Blake and I worked out 6/7 days. We ran. ran. and ran some more! Along with our running, we  did some body weight stuff, including this workout.

I really enjoyed this vacation. I think one of the main reasons is because we didn’t stay in a hotel. Renting a property is the way to go! I really appreciate making my own meals while on vacation. I also like the fact that we had so much space. Furthermore, I got to know Blake’s family who I adore. They are extremely laid back and very genuine people who like to laugh. What more could you ask for?

I’m off to play some softball!
