My First Stitch Fix!

I finally gave in and signed up for the coolest concept I have ever heard.

In a nutshell…

Stitch Fix is the first fashion retailer to blend expert styling, proprietary technology and unique product to deliver a shopping experience that is truly personalized for you. Simply fill out the Stitch Fix Style Profile and our personal stylists will handpick a selection of five clothing items and accessories unique to your taste, budget and lifestyle. You can buy what you like and return the rest! You can read more FAQ here.

It’s easy! all  you do is fill out a profile of your style and body type, pick the date you’d like to receive your box, try everything on, buy what you like, and return the rest at no cost (they send you a shipping label).

Essentially the investment is either + or – $20. There is a $20 styling fee, but if you purchase anything from your box, that $20 is credited to your account. If you don’t purchase anything and send everything back to Stitch Fix, they keep your $20 styling fee. The items that are sent to you are on average, $55.

I think this is genius for multiple reasons. 1. I LOVE fashion 2. I have a hard time finding clothes that are cute and look good on athletic body. So by filling out a questionnaire, you get to let Stitch Fix know your exact body shape, measurements, and style! You can even create a Pinterest board of your style so that the stylist who pulls your outfits knows you a little bit better. Soooooo here’s what I got!  Now, I need your help deciding what I should keep and what I should send back :D

I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. I will start from left to right.

The Jeans- I am totally not a jean person, but it’s good to have a pair that is your go-to. These jeans were suppose to be a boyfriend fit…but on me, not so much. The issue I have with jeans is things are too big in the waste and too tight in the legs. That’s exactly what happened with these!

The Tank: I’ve actually been looking for a crop tank to tuck into skirts (or flow over) and the fabric on this one is super comfy. I’m not much of a show my midriff kind of girl :D.

Blue Dress: I loved the material of this dress and the fit up top. However, I am not too sure of the actual fit and how it makes my tummy look ;)

Necklace: Spot on. I love it.

Stripe Dress: This is totally my kid of dress. I love a good maxi and the fit of this one is super cute! I feel confident and it’s definitely something I would pick out for myself in the store.

Note that this is not a sponsored post, but that the links provided are affiliate- so if you sign up through my link, I will get a kick back.)

What should I keep from my first Stitch Fix Box?
