FitFashion with Target® C9

This post was sponsored by Target® C9 through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Target® C9, all opinions are my own.

I get really excited when I get to work with brands that are from Minneapolis. Target®’s HQ is located in downtown Minne and it’s actually Blake’s workplace! He works in the Property Development building and remodeling Targets® around North America.

Target is hands down my favorite store. I go at least twice a week. I’ve watched their apparel blossom into something magical. Every time I go, I walk away with something new and extraordinary. This goes for their activewear line- C9! They’ve definitely been stepping it up.

As part of this campaign, I was able to choose 2 pieces to try out and review. Check out what I chose:

For the top- Women’s Sporty Layered Run Tank

For the bottom- Women’s Run Shorts with Knit Waistband

After wearing long yoga pants for the past 9 months (no joke, our winter pretty much just ended), shorts feel just perfect. What I love about this pair is the knit waistband. So comfortable, breathable, and easy to move in! I usually buy my shorts a size bigger because tight shorts are my enemy. No need to buy a bigger size with these, the waistband does it all.

What I love about the top is the built in bra. I usually can’t wear sport tanks that have built ins, but this tank is a little different. The two are completely separate. The bra was really comfortable and multicolored. It held the girls in great. The tank that’s attached is a little more on the “flowy” side, but great for movement. It doesn’t feel like you are sucked in like a lot of my other tight tanks.

I wanted to share a fun workout inspired by Target’s C9 collection. Since my outfit is so easy to move in, I thought I would post a fun cardio waterfall workout that I like to do in my yoga sculpt class. It’s a great warm up and really gets your heart pumping!

 last

How it works is that you start with 10 reps of one exercise. Then you do to 9, 8, 7 until you hit 1 of any cardio exercise you want! Then, go all the way back up to 10 and repeat that whole thing a second time. Sometime I like to go back and forth between two exercises or just do the same one. In this case I chose 5 different cardio movements and did them each 3 times per circuit.

Last but not least, POPSUGAR designed an awesome shoulders workout for this campaign. Enjoy!
