hello from Cleveland!

Yup, I am in Ohio!

For 2 reasons. Of course I am visiting my parents for Mother’s Day, but I also went on a few club visits (Anytime Fitness) for work! I am very thankful to be able to kill two birds with one stone :) Blake actually headed to Kansas for work and to visit his mom, so things worked out. We even got to have breakfast together at the airport on Friday morning!

My flight was a bit delayed due to plane maintenance, but I only got in about a half hour later than scheduled. Jess, a co-worker and friend who works off site in her hometown in Cleveland, picked me up to the airport and we did two club visits. This year, the Anytime Fitness corporate staff is making it a point to visit 1,000 out of our 2,000 clubs worldwide. Because I work in marketing, I am usually not one of the people to do a club visit, but I was lucky to make this work. It was really cool to see our owners in action running their business. Here’s me at the Painesville, OH club wearing my favorite new Lorna Jane zip up.

After our visits, Jess and her daughter Emme came over to my parents house for dinner. Cutest child I have ever seen. She is 2 and literally inhaled broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans. She also ate about a half pound of berries. I hope my kids are like that! We took the pups for a little walk after dinner.

Today, I was hoping to sleep in but I ended up waking up at 6:30, which is actually 5:30 Minneapolis time. We were walking the dogs by 7:45 and at the gym by 8:30. My mom and I did 15 minutes of cardio plus lower body. She kicked my butt. Look at this adorable headband she made for me!

After the workout it was girl time! My mom and I headed to Beachwood for some necessary shopping. I got a few things from Madewell, a store I just discovered that I am now OBSESSED WITH (photos to come) and a few things from Nordstrom Rack. Now, I am just sitting on the couch with Sasha.

Waiting to head downtown to dinner in Cleveland!

Happy weekend and Happy almost Mother’s Day!
