How to Make Quinoa in the Instant Pot

Cooking quinoa in the Instant Pot is an easy way to meal-prep food for the whole week! All you do is let the pressure build up and then set your Instant Pot for 5 minutes. Meal-prep quinoa in the Instant Pot for buddha bowls, soups, or salads all week long! You just can’t beat it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Prepare quinoa by placing it in a sieve and rinsing it under cold water.
  2. Shake the water out of quinoa and place into the instant pot.
  3. Add water to the instant pot, close and lock the cover. Turn to pressure valve to ‘seal’.
  4. Press Manual and set pressure to ‘high pressure’. Set timer to 5 minutes.
  5. Pressure will build and the timer will start counting down.
  6. When the timer goes off, switch the pressure valve to vent for a quick release. Steam will pour out of the vent, so be sure stay clear of the vent!
  7. Open the top of the instant pot and enjoy the quinoa!
