Superfood Power Protein Smoothie

I am breaking sleeping in records left and right. Yesterday morning I slept til 8 and this morning I slept til 9. Grandma Lee, don’t think so!

Today’s post is going to be very quick. This AM I am having my first #BeAmazing Running Meet Up at Lake Calhoun in Uptown. We got 10 inches of snow this past week, but things should be pretty groomed on the trails around the lake. Plus- it’s a high of 50 which is a heat wave. I originally had like 12 people sign up for today, but we will see how many venture out this AM.

As for the rest of my day- The running group (which I think may be me and one other lovely lady) and I are heading to Whole Foods for lunch (it’s still my birthday week..and I had to make a trip to WF). After that Blake and I are going get our clean on. I’m also guessing there is a Target run in today’s future :)

Superfood Power Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries, frozen
  • 1/2 banana, medium
  • Handful of spinach, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 scoop Designer Whey Gourmet Chocolate protein powder
  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and mix for about a minute or until smooth.
