Spring Stitch Fix + AZ

Happy Tuesday!

B and I got home from a quick trip to Arizona late late late Sunday night and this girl is running on like no sleep. Coffee x 500 PLEASE. As you know, B got laid off from his job a few weeks ago soooo, yes we were in AZ for an interview. The company he is potentially going to work for allows him to work from anywhere, so while there is a possibility of us moving, there is also a possibility of us staying put in MN!

o0oooo life.

Anyways- our AZ trip was a lot of fun. I took it to Instagram to get some great foodie recommendations and even hit a Crossfit studio called Cactus Crossfit (Box Jumps n Kettlebells GALORE). The restaurant highlights include: Morning Squeeze (I got the Protein Oat Pancakes), The Original Chop Chop Co. (I got the Chicken Protein Bowl), Two Brother’s Brewing Co. (I got the Steel Cut Oatmeal), True Food Kitchen (I got the Teriyaki Brown Rice Chicken Bowl), and RA Sushi Bar (We ordered pretty much everything on their happy hour menu…it was a 1AM I NEED FOOD kind of night).

The best part of the whole trip was hiking Camelback. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and it was an AMAZING workout. The only thing I wish I would have had was my platypus. You really can never have TOO much water on an AZ hike.

It was sooooo nice to wear Spring clothes, too! AND- my Stitch Fix couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. Everything I kept in my latest box went right in my suitcase and came to Arizona with me. I felt great rocking some new outfits. Check out what I got.

Spring Stitch Fix - Fit Foodie Finds

I am OBSESSED with this white blouse and drop chevron necklace. These two were clearly keepers and I can’t wait to wear this outfit every single day for the next week. PS: I got my jeans from Nordstrom in the BP Teen section this past fall. I think they’re technically suppose to be a boyfriend but, but since I’ve got myself a pair of thunder thighs…they fit more like normal cut jeans :D My shoes are Minnetonka Moccasins.

I loved this salmon shirt…the fabric was great, but I felt like it wasn’t anything super special. I ended up sending it back to Stitch Fix HQ.

My jeans and shoes are the same as the above outfit…Nordstrom and Minnetonka!

This blue high-wasted maxi skirt is AH-MAYZING. It is TOTALLY my style and my Stitch Fix stylist NAILED it! In the above outfit, I paired it with a crop top from Target, the drop chevron necklace I got in this Fix, and black flats from Target.

Solid outfit.

Of course, I kept the skirt :P

Last but not least…this tight high-wasted skirt didn’t look very god on my. While I liked the cut…the pattern was not the most flattering on me! Note to self: horizontal stripes are no bueno.

If you want more information on how Stitch Fix works….I wrote a post a while pack explaining it in detail.

PS: When Brooke took these photos for me…it was like 40 degrees out. Ohhh the things I do to get a dang photo! :P
