  1. Place all ingredients into a medium pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, turn down to low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Use a sieve to remove any seeds/spices before serving.
  4. Garnish with a cinnamon stick, a star anise, fresh thyme, and an orange peel.
