Make Roux

Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Then, add in flour and whisk until a crumble or paste has formed.

Slowly add in the broth, mixing constantly. Then, add in shredded cheese and mix until it's thick and creamy.

Combine

Combine shredded hash browns with shredded cheese. Then, pour in the cheese sauce and mix to combine.

Bake

Bake cheesy potato casserole at 350ºF for 30 minutes. Then, add more cheese to the top and bake for 15 more minutes. Let sit for 5 minutes and serve!
