What is chicken marsala?

Chicken marsala is an Italian dish that combines a creamy marsala wine sauce with mushrooms and is served with pan-seared chicken breast

What you need for  marsala sauce:

MUSHROOMS

BROTH

BUTTER

MARSALA WINE

ONION

GARLIC

Slice chicken breasts in half. Then, use a meat tenderizer to pound chicken so that they are 1/2-inch thick and all the same size.

First, pound chicken

Next, dredge chicken breast in a combination of flour, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, and salt.

Bread

Melt butter in a cast iron skillet over medium/high heat. Sear chicken cutlets on both sides for 4-5 minutes or until filly cooked.

Pan Fry Chicken

Make chicken marsala sauce by cooking down mushrooms. Then add onion, garlic, broth, Greek yogurt, and marsala wine. Simmer for 10-12 minutes to reduce sauce by half.
