what you need:

Chicken breast Grated parmesan cheese Italian bread crumbs Garlic powder Salt and pepper Egg Olive oil Marinara sauce Mozzarella cheese

Prep Chicken

First, slice your chicken breasts in half and then use a meat tenderizer to pound chicken until they reach around 1/2-inch thick.

Dredge Chicken

Next, dip chicken cutlets in an egg wash. Then, dredge the chicken in the bread crumb and parmesan mixture, making sure they are fully coated.

Pan Fry

Brown the chicken cutlets in olive oil over medium/high heat for around 3-4 minutes or until brown.

Bake

Transfer chicken to a casserole dish and top with marinara  and mozzarella. Bake at 450ºF for 5-7 minutes or until chicken reaches 165ºF.

Serve

Serve chicken parmesan with fresh chopped basil and your favorite pasta noodle or gnocchi. Don't forget more cheese, too!
