Season Chicken
Season your boneless, skinless chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons of homemade taco seasoning. You can also use a store-bought packet, too.

Assemble
Pour 1/2 cup of salsa on the bottom of your slow cooker and then mix it with 1/4 cup of water. Add chicken breasts and then top them with the remaining salsa.

Slow Cook
Slow cook your crockpot chicken tacos on low for 6-8 hours (recommended) or on high for 2-3 hours. Make sure the internal temp. of the chicken is 165ºF.

Shred
Use two forks to shred the chicken breasts. Then, mix them with the liquid and leftover salsa so they stay nice and juicy and flavorful.

Serve
Serve your shredded chicken tacos in street taco tortillas with your favorite toppings: shredded cheese, guacamole, cilantro, and sour cream.
