WHAT IS CHICKEN PICCATA?

Chicken Piccata is an Italian chicken recipe made with pounded and fried chicken breast topped with a white wine lemon sauce with capers. We love eating chicken piccata served on top of pasta.

STEP 1

First, slice chicken breast in half and poud it with a meat tenderizer until it's 1/2-inch thick.

STEP 2

Mix together chicken seasoning - flour, salt, pepper, garlic, and Italian seasoning

STEP 3

Rinse chicken with water and then dredge it in the flour mixture to fully coat.

STEP 4

Saute chicken breast on each side for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.

STEP 5

Make chicken piccata sauce by deglazing pan with white wine. Add flour, chicken broth, lemon, and capers.

Serve over angel hair pasta & enjoy!
