French Toast Sticks


French Toast Sticks are a childhood classic made with sliced artisan bread soaked in egg and milk and then fried in butter. 

Why Make French Toast Sticks

In addition to sliced thick bread, you need eggs, milk, maple syrup, and butter. This recipe is so simple and takes less than 30 minutes to make.

What You Need

Step 1: Soak

After slicing your bread, soak each piece for about a minute in the egg mixture. Make sure both sides are coated. 

Step 2: Fry

Melt butter in a nonstick pan over medium/low heat and cook French toast sticks on both sides until golden brown.

Step 3: Cinnamon Sugar

Sprinkle on some cinnamon sugar and then fry for 20 more seconds on each side to crisp up your French Toast Sticks.
