First, add water to a sauce pan or small pot. Then, add a steam basket or stainless steel fine mesh strainer to the top of the pan.
Steam
Add your chopped broccoli to the steam basket. Then, cover the pot and let the water continue to boil for 4 minutes. During this time, the broccoli will steam.

Remove
After 4 minutes, remove the broccoli from the steam basket.
