Pork Chop Brine


What is a pork  chop brine?

A pork chop brine is a combination of salt, water, and other add ins.

what you need:

Water Salt Orange peel Peppercorns Bay leaf Apple juice

Why you should brine your pork chops:

1. Flavor: It infuses your pork chops with salty flavors. 2. Texture: it prevents your meat from coming out chewy and tough. 3. Moisture: it helps your pork chops come out moist and tender.

Whisk Salt and Water

Add water and salt to a large bowl. Whisk the salt until it dissolves.



Add other flavors such as orange peel, peppercorns, bay leaf, and apple juice. Mix again.



Transfer your pork chops into a gallon-size bag and then pour in the pork chop brine. Squish everything around and seal.


Let Sit

Let pork chops sit in the pork chop brine for 30-45 minutes. Make sure not to let it sit too long or it will become tough and chewy.
