This slow cooker recipe is so easy and versatile. Perfect to make for pork tacos, pork sandwiches or buddha bowl!

what you need:

4–5lbs. boneless pork white onion, diced garlic, smashed and diced apple cider vinegar bbq sauce  bourbon worcestershire sauce light brown sugar salt & pepper spices olive oil

Dry Rub

Mix together dry rub ingredients: brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin, mustard powder, salt, pepper & dried thyme.

Sear

Rub dry rub all over the pork shoulder and sear in a well olive oil greased pan. Flip on each side so each side is seared.

Sauce

Prepare sauce by adding chopped onion, garlic, barbecue sauce, bourbon and Worcestershire sauce. Then, pour over the pork in the slow cooker.

Cover & Cook

Cover the slow cooker and set to cook for 6-8 hours on high or until the pork shreds easily with a fork.

Shred & Serve

Once pork is cooked through, shred the pork with the desired amount of sauce. Then, serve on a roll or taco and enjoy!
