Make this Traeger smoked turkey with a simple turkey brine and delicious seasononing!

what you need:

15 lb. turkey Onion Garlic Water Salt Turkey seasoning

Turkey Brine

Dissolve salt in water and then transfer it into a large, water-filled container. Add garlic, cloves, thyme, and rosemary.

Brine Turkey

Place turkey into the container and into the fridge. Brine bird for 24 hours.

Season Turkey

Use 1/2 to 3/4 cup of turkey seasoning and season bird. Then, stuff it with fresh herbs, onion, and garlic.

Smoke Turkey

Place turkey into an aluminum pan and smoke turkey at 225ºF for 5 hours, basting every 1.5 hour. Then, cook at 250ºF for 1 hour.

Make Gravy

Use the turkey drippings and  basting liquid to make gravy. Add that plus broth into a saucepan and whisk in cornstarch until thick.

Serve!

Serve smoked turkey with the homemade gravy with all of your favorite Thanksgiving sides.
