  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place each half of the Italian bread crust side down on the baking sheet. Spread ½ cup of pizza sauce evenly over each half of the bread. Evenly sprinkle ½ cup of cheese over the top of the sauce and then place ½ the pepperoni and diced pepper on top of the cheese of both halves. Finish by adding the remaining cheese sprinkled over the top of both halves of the pizza.

  • Bake it for 15 minutes. Check the pizza, and if the edges of the bread are golden brown and the cheese is melted, it’s done. If not, bake for another 5 minutes.

Tips & Notes

  • You can switch up the toppings and cheese for this recipe to your favorite pizza toppings.
  • You can use normal-size pepperoni, too but it will take up more room on the pizza.
  • We used an Italian loaf of bread, but you can use any baked loaf of bread other than a french baguette; those tend to be a bit too skinny.
