Smoked Salmon Dip

This easy smoked salmon dip is savory and creamy. Serve it on crackers or use as a sandwich spread!

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup full fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 oz. cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt separated
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • ½ cup minced dill pickles
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1.5 teaspoon tabasco or your favorite hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 oz. smoked salmon flaked

Instructions

  • Add the Greek yogurt, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, ½ teaspoon of salt, and Worcestershire sauce to a food processor and process until smooth, combined, and creamy.

  • Next, add the fresh dill to the food processor and pulse until combined.
  • Use a spatula to scrape the cream cheese mixture into a large bowl.
  • Add the whole grain mustard, pickles, paprika, tabasco, black pepper, and ½ teaspoon of salt to the bowl and mix until combined.

  • Finally, add the flaked smoked salmon into the bowl and mix to combine.

  • Taste the smoked salmon dip and if the dip needs more salt and if so, add the remaining salt to the dip.
  • Garnish the dip with fresh dill and serve with your favorite crackers.

Tips & Notes

We use our smoked salmon in this recipe but feel free to use a store bought smoked salmon if you’d like. Just be aware that it will alter the flavor of the dip a bit. You may need to add more salt.
