Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 5 cups chopped broccoli ~12 oz.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  • Spread the broccoli over the baking sheet and drizzle the broccoli with olive oil. Massage the oil into the broccoli with your hands.

  • Season the broccoli with salt and pepper and massage the broccoli again.

  • Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and roast for 15-17 minutes, tossing halfway through. Roast the broccoli until the edges of the broccoli have browned.*

  • Remove the broccoli from the oven and transfer the broccoli to a large serving bowl. Add the lemon juice and parmesan to the broccoli and toss. Serve immediately.

Tips & Notes

  • This roasted broccoli recipe leaves you with roasted broccoli that has a bite. If you like broccoli that is cooked more, add a few more minutes to the cook time.
