1-2 tablespoons steak seasoning
Season the steak with 1 tablespoon of steak seasoning (or more if you would like) and massage the seasoning into both sides of the steak. Let the steak sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF and drizzle ½ tablespoon of olive oil in the bottom of the air fryer.
Transfer the steak into the air fryer and drizzle with the rest of the olive oil. Depending on the size of your air fryer basket, you will likely only be able to cook 1 steak at a time. If you're cooking multiple, do not overcrowd the air fryer. Air fry the steak for 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Use a meat thermometer to measure the temperature of the steak. When the steak reaches 135ºF (for medium rare -- more temps in the recipe card) remove the steak from the air fryer. For a more well-done steak, continue cooking. Once your steak is cooked to your liking, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
