Peanut butter and jelly overnight oats are a fun twist on classic overnight oats. Not only does this recipe remind me of a PB and J sandwich, but it’s nutritious and made with whole grains and chia seeds.

What You Need

overnight oats

Variations

  • Protein powder: if you’re looking to add more protein to your breakfast, try adding 2 tablespoons of your favorite protein powder.
  • Swap the jam for berries: not a huge jam fan? Use mashed berries instead.
  • Use peanut powder instead of peanut butter: a commenter asked if you could use peanut flour/pb2 instead of peanut butter and you absolutely can. We recommend swapping 1:1 and then adding a bit more liquid to make sure it’s not too thick.

Um. Dang. This looks freaking awesome. That first photo with the peanut butter dripping over? Whoa. And I think we all have our body issues no matter what. I would love some more up top and wish I could squeeze my fat all up into there!

Hey yo. We all totally have those moments. And that’s fine. I don’t really like my girls either. The size has fluctuated more than I care for them to (because bras are EXPENSIVE), and I HATE shopping for bras. Speaking of, I’m in need of new ones right now.
The world would be easier if sport bras could be worn in the business office world…
Oh, and these oats? Making them ASAP. Need to get some berries + jam in our house!

I have had success with buying stretchy sports bras and wearing two (double bag) when I work out. Or a thinner one under a Tata Tamer from Lululemon. I just make sure to wear two different types of straps. Jumping jacks? No problem!

I recently just went to buy new bras and I’m a 32 DD. When I was heavier in college my girls were out of control. I played field hockey in college and would wear 2 sports bras to keep them glued to my chest. It was pretty comical. I used to not be a fan of them, but now I am okay with them, even though they are a little deflated and have stretch marks. HA…we have our moments, especially when it comes to bathing suit shopping…UGH!

Ok, so I am weirdly obsessed with overnight oats recipes. I love reading them and looking at them, but do not make them! Ha! I love oatmeal and all things peanut butter…but overnight oats? I don’t understand eating cold oatmeal. What I do is make the oatmeal fresh that morning with all of the listed ingredients, nice and warm. I guess I am in the minority since most people are also in love with overnight oats. I wonder if there are people out there like me who make warm “overnight oats?”

I’m totally with you on the icky factor or cold oats. I legit make ‘overnight hot oats” as I cook up my protein zoats (just the main base), leave them in the fridge overnight and reheat in the morning. I really like the gummier texture rather then the flowy one so by precooking them then reheating without any added liquid makes them nice and ooey gooey and dense. I add my fruit in the last few minutes of cooking so it’s hot and melty but not disintegrated ( still like chunks of melted fruit) and then add my nut butter and any other toppings. 😀

As much as I love all things oats, the though it it cold makes me gag a wee bit. I need it burn my face off hot, even in the summer time ahaha.

These oats look fantastic though and can probably be done the same way, just plop your pre-made oats on top of the strawberry layer and heat that way so when you dig your spoon in you would get the melted ‘jam’ on the tip of every spoonful and some of it would seep up into the peanut butter oat portion. Yum!

I’m the same way, I love the recipes but cannot eat cold oats. I started making them and then popping them in the microwave for a minute while I’m making my morning coffee.

I SO get you. I am a sophomore in high school (15) and a 32DD. Sports bras started out as a necessity due to the fact that I run cross country, but I now wear them about 98% of the time. You wouldn’t think your rack could actually get in your way, but OH MY GOODNESS IT CAN! I feel ya!

Another great breakfast recipe that I will be adding to my list of “must trys”. And I love that there is no cooking involved. Simply mix, sleep, and wake up to a delicious breakfast.

Thanks for the delicious recipe Lee, I’Ll be sure to try them, I love PB and strawberries together 😀

One of my sisters is a 38 DD (if I converted correctly she is 85 F under European bra size), and she has struggled with having so large breasts as well. They made her feel insecure and very body conscious (since she has a normal body and these breasts are big for her other proportions) ever since they appeared. There are many cuts and types of shirts she doesn’t like to wear due to them, so I understand you.

One of my high school friends was very tiny (around 5″) and still had DDs, it was very awkward for her since they were so obvious and disproportionate for her tiny frame. She couldn’t buy bikinis because there was at least 2-3 sizes between the top and bottom. After graduation she had breast reduction surgery because her big breasts were hurting her back already at age 18. I’ve met her since, her new breasts look natural with her petite body, and she is very happy with them. I’m usually not for surgeries, but in her I could see it really made a positive difference.

LOL genetics are crazy!! My mom has the smallest boobs in the family (I have 2 sisters and she has the smallest cups), I’m a 36A and my other sister is a C, but my poor other sister really got it.
