Paloma — Drink of the Summer

This Paloma cocktail truly is THE drink of our summer this year! Why? It’s so refreshing, has just the perfect amount of sweetness from the grapefruit and sour soda, and is made from 4 simple ingredients!

How to Make the Perfect Paloma

This super refreshing Paloma cocktail comes together with just 5 simple ingredients (one of which is ice!). It’s easy to make, and oh so delicious on a hot summer day.

Gather Ingredients

Round up your ice, tequila, grapefruit juice and lime juice. Place all 4 ingredients into a cocktail shaker or a mason jar.

Shake, Shake, Shake

Cover your cocktail shaker or mason jar, and shake all the ingredients for 30- 45 seconds.

Pour and Top with Sour Soda

Pour your cocktail shaker or mason jar ingredients over ice into a glass. Then, top with sour soda.

Stir and Enjoy!

Stir sour soda into the cocktail, and enjoy immediately!

Can You Make a Large Batch of Paloma Cocktails?

Of course! This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to serve a larger number of people. One caveat: because the sour soda will lose its delicious fizziness over time, we recommend serving these immediately or within a few hours for optimal deliciousness.

How to Store Palomas

Since these refreshing Palomas incorporate fresh grapefruit juice and lime juice, as well as sour soda (which won’t retain its fizziness if not served immediately), we recommend whipping up smaller batches of these delicious cocktails if you’re not serving a crowd to ensure you can enjoy them immediately.
