Protein Strawberry Cheesecake Jars with Cottage Cheese

This single-serve strawberry cheesecake jar is one of those delicious desserts that you can always turn to in a pinch! It’s quick, easy, and high in protein since we use cottage cheese and Greek yogurt instead of a typical cream cheese mixture.
Whether it is strawberry season or you’d like to make the perfect individual treat for any time of year, these cute little jars are sure to please!
If you love the taste of fresh strawberries combined with classic cheesecake flavor (including a buttery graham cracker crust!), you’re going to go head over heels for these mason jar cheesecakes. It’s a no-bake dessert that will be ready to eat in as little as 10 minutes.
What You’ll Need to Make Single-Serve Strawberry Cheesecake
- 2% cottage cheese: we recommend using at least 2% cottage cheese to give the cheesecake mixture a rich and creamy flavor.
- Strawberries: strawberry slices are blended into the cheesecake “batter” and also layered into the cheesecake jar.
- Honey or agave syrup: you can use either honey or agave syrup, depending on how sweet you like it, to sweeten the cheesecake mixture.
- 2% Greek yogurt: again, using 2% Greek yogurt will lend a rich and creamy flavor to the cheesecake filling.
- Granola: granola adds a delicious crunchy texture to the smooth and creamy cheesecake layers.
- Graham cracker sheet: this gets broken up into graham cracker crumbs to create the crust of the cheesecake jar.
- High-speed food processor or blender: either of these will work great to blend the cheesecake mixture together.
- Mason jars: whether you decide to make a single serving or a double serving, individual mason jars are the perfect vessel for these single-serve cheesecakes.
Variations and Substitutions
These no-bake strawberry cheesecake jars are super versatile, meaning you can substitute different ingredients to make an entirely different flavor! For example, you can replace the strawberries with other fresh berries like blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries. Or you can even mix in your favorite nut butter for a decadent twist.
If you’re not a fan of using honey or agave syrup, feel free to substitute it with maple syrup or your preferred sweetener. Just remember, the more sweetener you add, the sweeter your jar will be!
Get creative and swap the graham cracker crumbles with crushed Oreos or your favorite cookie for a different flavor profile. You could also add your favorite toppings like Cool Whip or whipped cream, fresh berries, or chocolate shavings to make your dessert even more delicious.
Pro Tips for Single-Serve Strawberry Cheesecake Jar
- We tested this recipe a total of 4 times and found that blending the cottage cheese, strawberries, sweetener, and Greek yogurt together resulted in a too-liquidy consistency. To avoid this, make sure to fold the Greek yogurt into the cottage cheese mixture instead.
- If you plan on meal-prepping this dessert, wait to add the granola and graham cracker crust until later. This will prevent them from getting soggy and will keep your cheesecake jars tasting fresh.
Storage + Freezer Directions
Store any leftover no-bake cheesecake jars in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
We don’t recommend freezing this recipe as cottage cheese doesn’t freeze well.

Strawberry Cheesecake Jar with Cottage Cheese
Ingredients
- ½ cup 2% cottage cheese
- 2 strawberries
- 1-2 tablespoons honey, or agave, depending on how sweet you like it
- ¾ cup plain 2% Greek yogurt
- ½ cup sliced strawberries + more for topping
- ¼ cup granola
- 1 graham cracker sheet, broke up into pieces
Instructions
- Add cottage cheese to a high-speed food processor or blender. Blend on high until completely smooth. Add the strawberries and honey and pulse until the mixture turns pink. Be careful not to process the strawberries on high, they will turn into liquid.
- Add the blended cottage cheese to a bowl and add the Greek yogurt. Stir the two ingredients together until it thickens.
- Layer the cottage cheese mixture, strawberries, granola, and graham crackers in a jar.
- Eat immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator.

- Any berry can be replaced with strawberries.
