- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

- 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Place all ingredients for the beef stew seasoning into a large glass container or mason jar.
- Then, stir the spices together to create your rub.
- Seal jar and store in a dry, cool place.
I had 1 1/2 lbs. of stew meat, 5 med. potatoes, 2 C sliced carrots, 2 chopped onions, a can of tomato soup, a can of water, a bay leaf, 1 tbsp. worchestershire sauce, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. It all depends on how big your roast is. This recipe works for a 2-lb. roast!

What do you do with the rub made from all the spicy ingredients? Can I just put them all into the stew as it cooks away in the slow cooker?? I am not sure what to do with the rub of spices that I just made. please help so I don’t make a total mess of my stew. lol thank you so much. Robert
