A delicious pumpkin smoothie made with your morning coffee so you don’t have to choose between the two! Our pumpkin smoothie recipe tastes like a frozen pumpkin latte, but is actually healthy and made with frozen banana, pumpkin puree, coffee, and pumpkin pie spice! Did someone say that this smoothie tastes like a frozen pumpkin latte?! That’s right, it’s your lucky day because this amazing drink is everything you’ve ever wanted in a fall smoothie.
Best Fall Smoothie
In my opinion, the best kind of fall smoothie includes some kind of fall-inspired fruit or veggie such as pumpkin, apple, squash, etc. AND some kind of cinnamon-based spice blend. With this pumpkin smoothie recipe, you’re going to get just that! The basis of this smoothie is made from frozen bananas and pumpkin puree and has a handful of amazing fall-inspired ingredient additions.Ingredients
- frozen banana
- pumpkin puree
- pumpkin pie spice
- coffee
- maple syrup
- coffee
- almond milk
Why Coffee?
I’m sure there is one ingredient that sticks out and? It’s the coffee! We love adding a little bit of coffee to our morning smoothie because not only does it give you a caffeine boost, but coffee actually helps bring out all of the amazing fall flavors. That little bit of acidity does wonders for flavor profiles. Once blended, your smoothie should taste pretty similar to pumpkin pie filling. I mean, look at how gorgeous it looks blended. From there, transfer your pumpkin pie smoothie into 2 glasses and add your toppings!Topping ideas
- whipped topping
- pumpkin pie spice
- mini chocolate chips
- nuts
