Instant Pot Pulled Pork


What cut of pork  do I need?

To make Instant Pot Pulled Pork, you'll need a 2-3 lb. pork shoulder roast. A pork butt roast will also work.

Season & Sear

First, season pork roast using our famous pork dry rub. Then, sear on all sides using the sauté feature for 2-3 minutes/side.

Deglaze Instant Pot with broth and then cook onions and garlic to create a delicious sauce base for your pulled pork. 


Pressure Cook

Place seared pork on top of onions and seal Instant Pot shut. Pressure cook on high for 90 minutes. This will leave your pulled pork fall-off-the-bone tender!


Quick release your Instant Pot and save 1 cup of liquid from the bottom. Then, carefully shred your pork shoulder and mix liquid back in along with your favorite BBQ sauce. 


Enjoy pulled pork on a sandwich, nachos, or on its own!
