I made three batches of blueberry banana last night so I’ll be set on breakfast for the first half of my week. Added a bit of salt to the recipe too, it’s delicious! I’m excited to try the other two flavor combinations.
Yay! Breakfast for the week. WOOT.
I made all three and they were all really good. I ended up feeling like there was a lot of batter so I used what I had and well it made it more fun. My chocolate chocolate chip one was like eating a giant chocolatey pancake. They were all unique in their flavors. Yum. Highly recommend this recipe. Making all 3 was great for meal prep too!
Yours turned out amazing!!
Hi, I would love to make this as my breakfast, but I dont think I have that much time for the preps, so I was thinking if I could make it the night before and eat it immediately in the morning. Can it stay for that long? Or pit it in the fridge? How long can it last? Btw thank you for the great recipe
I baked three last night and microwaved one for breakfast this morning, it worked great!
Great idea! I think that’s what I would suggest doing as well!
I always make at least a batch of 4 individual ones. I eat one and the rest for in freezer for when I want another. Usually only takes me a couple of weeks to eat them up. So delicious!!
Ooooh so smart to freeze these, Teresa!
Hi, I have oat flour, can I check if I can directly substitute oats with oats flour? If yes, how much oat flour do I use. Iโm thinking itโs definitely lesser than using oats.
Yes! Substitute 1:1!
I made the chocolate chip one. I used oat milk due to many food allergies. It came out wonderful!! I multiplied the recipe x4 so we have plenty for the week. I have the extra in the fridge, do you usually heat back up in the microwave? Thanks.
Yes! Microwave is perfect.
Attempted the banana blueberry version. When I first took them out after 30 min, they were still raw and gooey inside. I thought it might have been because my blue errors had been frozen, so I cooked another 20 minutes. Still gooey. I was expecting cake texture. Maybe too many blueberries adding moisture? Idk but it was a fail ๐
Oh, no! I was hoping to make this version tomorrow…๐
I had the exact same thing happen to me using fresh blueberries. The texture was completely off even after extra cooking. I couldn’t eat it.
We just retested the blueberry banana and reduced the berries to 1/4 cup. But also our #1 tip is to not puree the berries and to just pulse them or too much liquid will get released.
I made the double chocolate version and it was delish! A healthier version of a double chocolate muffin, YUM. Definitely will be trying the other versions.
Didnโt have the 8 oz ramekin so I made these as muffins. The chocolate chocolate chip needs sugar. Using unsweetened almond milk, and cocoa with no sugar in the entire recipe (base or add in) made a dull blob.
Hi Tommy! We are SO sorry. There was a typo in the recipe card. There is supposed to be 1 tablespoon of maple syrup in these blended oats.
Can you substitute whole milk for the almond milk for a toddler?
I was also wondering this!
Yes you can! Any milk will work!
Hi, thank you for the yummy recipe. I am not able to get the color right as per your picture. Pls helpโฆ
