Over the past year or so, I’ve come to have a pretty amazing collection of shoes (Thank you Finish Line!). I’m not talking about stilettos, pumps, in da club…I’m specifically talking about athletic shoes. I pretty much have something to match every kind of top and bottom combination in my closet…pink, blue, green, black, patterned. I don’t feel bad about it at all. Most women have a mega collection of heels, flats, wedges, boots, etc. I however, have a very focused collection of shoes because it just makes sense for my lifestyle. For me, comfort is the number one thing I look for in a shoe and I am the most comfortable in a gym shoe. Plus- 90% of the time I am wearing some sort of activewear, whether I’m in the gym or just doing my day to day thang.
I am excited to be one of the first people to test out Adidas’s new Pure Boost X Running Shoes! I had them on the other day when my brother was over for dinner and he was SUPER JEALOUS š Talk about a good looking shoe…and comfy too! It’s one of those shoes that’s so cool looking that I don’t want to wear them out at the gym š I’ve actually never seen anything like it. The center of the shoe is detached from the sole with a dynamic foot arch, which pretty much molds to your foot. They’re lightweight, which I am a HUGE fan of and have a super comfortable sole.
Clearly I’m down to wear these guys on the street, but I’m also comfortable enough strapping them on for a run or for strength training in the gym. They are meant for running after all, but I’m all about a dual-purpose shoe.
I wrote up a workout inspired by the versatility of these bad boys. Lately I have been a HUGE FAN of mixing up my workouts by combining sprint circuits with strength circuits. I’d much rather jump on the treadmill, run for a bit, jump off, squat for a bit, back on the treadmill…etc.
Combine two minute treadmill sprints with a strength training circuit for the ultimate full body sprint and strength workout!

BodyPump is the one workout I can never live without!
Running outdoors, especially at the beach, is my fave.
This workout sounds great! I’m a runner by nature and have trained for a marathon, but I’m finding the importance of strength training. I’ve gotten into planks and weighted squats most recently and I’m seeing the benefits in my overall strength and in my running!
This workout looks great!!!
I love circuits, HIIT, etc.! Get the job done in a short amount of time!

I love being outdoors and going for a long run! Something about being outside and enjoying nature is relaxing and invigorating!
I love workouts like this — I started class pass about 2 months ago and love trying out different circuit training/HIIT classes. A little bit of strength + a little bit of cardio = a perfect combo!
Nothing makes me feel better than a good sweat – HIIT is where it’s at!
Favorite workout is running.
Outside running.
It makes.me feel so free, and powerful. I just cant live without it!
My favorite kind of workout recently are HIIT sessions. I love to mix it up with different routines and the fact that I can get my workout it any time and any place!
Crossfit! But I’ve been trying to add a run or two in lately too.
My FAVORITE workout at the moment is resistance training followed up by the stationary bike! I like cycling to mix up traditional cardio!
Kickboxing! Cardio, strength training, and some serious stress relief all in one.
