Over the past year or so, I’ve come to have a pretty amazing collection of shoes (Thank you Finish Line!). I’m not talking about stilettos, pumps, in da club…I’m specifically talking about athletic shoes. I pretty much have something to match every kind of top and bottom combination in my closet…pink, blue, green, black, patterned. I don’t feel bad about it at all. Most women have a mega collection of heels, flats, wedges, boots, etc. I however, have a very focused collection of shoes because it just makes sense for my lifestyle. For me, comfort is the number one thing I look for in a shoe and I am the most comfortable in a gym shoe. Plus- 90% of the time I am wearing some sort of activewear, whether I’m in the gym or just doing my day to day thang.
I am excited to be one of the first people to test out Adidas’s new Pure Boost X Running Shoes! I had them on the other day when my brother was over for dinner and he was SUPER JEALOUS š Talk about a good looking shoe…and comfy too! It’s one of those shoes that’s so cool looking that I don’t want to wear them out at the gym š I’ve actually never seen anything like it. The center of the shoe is detached from the sole with a dynamic foot arch, which pretty much molds to your foot. They’re lightweight, which I am a HUGE fan of and have a super comfortable sole.
Clearly I’m down to wear these guys on the street, but I’m also comfortable enough strapping them on for a run or for strength training in the gym. They are meant for running after all, but I’m all about a dual-purpose shoe.
I wrote up a workout inspired by the versatility of these bad boys. Lately I have been a HUGE FAN of mixing up my workouts by combining sprint circuits with strength circuits. I’d much rather jump on the treadmill, run for a bit, jump off, squat for a bit, back on the treadmill…etc.
Combine two minute treadmill sprints with a strength training circuit for the ultimate full body sprint and strength workout!
Sprint and Strength Workout

I love yoga!
I love running. There is just nothing like it, it can fix a bad day or make sure your day starts out well. There is no such thing as regretting you went running. It’s therapy and exercise all wrapped up in one.
Tabatta workouts are my fave!!
Running! Training for my first half in April!
My favorite workout is intervals. They may be tough, but I feel like time flies when you are running fast!
I love tempo runs and yoga sculpt!!
I am an olympic lifter, crossfitter, and still enjoy running and biking in the beautiful MN weather!
My favorite workout is playing tennis! Can’t wait for it to warm up so I can play outside again!
My fav workout is taking my kids on a stroller walk around the neighborhood.
I actually love doing HIIT or Kayla Itsines’ BBG workouts. Well, you could say that it’s a love/hate relationship haha!
I like to run as I am training for the Boston Marathon. I like to explore different trails and appreciate nature while on my runs. Also I like hot yoga and cycle classes.
I love long hikes!
I really like to run as I am currently training for the Boston marathon. Also, I like interval workout classes.
I’m loving the Kayla Itsines BBG workouts at the moment! I do three of those a week, and then one HIIT sprint session and one heavy weights session! š
Favorite workout: aside from running (ultimate favorite workout), definitely working the legs/glutes. Recently I’ve been trying some deadlifts while on steps with the smith machine ā¤ļø
HOT yoga!
