Over the past year or so, I’ve come to have a pretty amazing collection of shoes (Thank you Finish Line!). I’m not talking about stilettos, pumps, in da club…I’m specifically talking about athletic shoes. I pretty much have something to match every kind of top and bottom combination in my closet…pink, blue, green, black, patterned. I don’t feel bad about it at all. Most women have a mega collection of heels, flats, wedges, boots, etc. I however, have a very focused collection of shoes because it just makes sense for my lifestyle. For me, comfort is the number one thing I look for in a shoe and I am the most comfortable in a gym shoe. Plus- 90% of the time I am wearing some sort of activewear, whether I’m in the gym or just doing my day to day thang.
I am excited to be one of the first people to test out Adidas’s new Pure Boost X Running Shoes! I had them on the other day when my brother was over for dinner and he was SUPER JEALOUS š Talk about a good looking shoe…and comfy too! It’s one of those shoes that’s so cool looking that I don’t want to wear them out at the gym š I’ve actually never seen anything like it. The center of the shoe is detached from the sole with a dynamic foot arch, which pretty much molds to your foot. They’re lightweight, which I am a HUGE fan of and have a super comfortable sole.
Clearly I’m down to wear these guys on the street, but I’m also comfortable enough strapping them on for a run or for strength training in the gym. They are meant for running after all, but I’m all about a dual-purpose shoe.
I wrote up a workout inspired by the versatility of these bad boys. Lately I have been a HUGE FAN of mixing up my workouts by combining sprint circuits with strength circuits. I’d much rather jump on the treadmill, run for a bit, jump off, squat for a bit, back on the treadmill…etc.
Combine two minute treadmill sprints with a strength training circuit for the ultimate full body sprint and strength workout!

Kettlebell sport!
Running for sure!
My favorite workout includes my son, whether it is a long walk in the summer or dancing around the house in the winter! He makes it fun!
I love to do interval running/strength work outs on trails when I get the chance! Otherwise walking/biking with my little kiddos in the trailer to the park and running around and working out with them.
My favorite’s a combo of lifting & bodyweight movements…but I’ll try any new activity that keeps my body guessing and moving!
Weight training is my favorite! Arms especially! I see a lot of comments that I’m not familiar with, so I think I need to get out there and see what I’m missing!
Running and yoga!! I have my first marathon next weekend And have been mixing in lots of yoga. It’s so addicting
Recently ran across you on Instagram and immediately fell in love with your simple, but delicious looking recipes, the photography, and the fitness inspiration. My favorite workout at the moment is HIIT or kickboxing!
My favorite workout to do regularly is to row! Back, abs, legs, arms – rowing provides such a nice whole body workout without letting you get stuck in that cardio rut, and is great for all fitness levels!
My favorite workout is anything with plyometrics. Gotta love those jump squats!
Definitely lifting!
So… I honestly can’t even choose just one favorite! I love anything from running to sculpt fusion type classes. I’m 22 and I teach 3 different LesMills formats: GRIT, Bodypump, and CXWORX. And I love them ALL! Anything to sweat and have fun, is my type of workout!
Btw: these shoes are too cute! š
Loving sneaking in runs on the few warm days we’ve had recently!
I love running and doing tabata at the gym!
Cyclinggggg! Somehow I still get pumped even when it’s freezing outside!
Fave workout combo is definitely yoga + jogging. š
