If I had to choose one overnight oats flavor to eat for the rest of my life, it would hands down be this peanut butter banana variation. I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve made them and the same goes for lots of you. I love eating them with a giant scoop of peanut butter on top with some sliced bananas. And, more recently, I’ve been adding a scoop of protein powder!

This peanut butter banana overnight oats recipe is one of our most popular Fit Foodie Finds breakfasts. They are smooth, and creamy, and only take 5 minutes to prepare. Bonus – my 1-year-old Gus is obsessed with them, which means your kids will love them too 🕺

- Vanilla
Variations for PB Banana Overnight Oats
- Add protein: If you’re hoping to fit more protein into your diet, go ahead and try adding around 2 tablespoons of your favorite protein powder or collagen.
- Use a different sweetener: feel free to swap the honey for maple syrup, agave, or even brown sugar.
- Swap the peanut butter: if you can’t do peanut butter, any kind of nut butter works. Try almond butter or cashew butter!
Topping Ideas
Don’t forget the toppings…it’s the best part! We went with more sliced bananas, a dollop of creamy peanut butter, and some chopped peanuts. Here are other ideas:
- Berries
- chocolate chips
- Fresh lemon zest
- Almond milk
- Dried cranberries
How long do PB Banana Overnight Oats last in the fridge?

Hi, what is the conversion from 1 cup to grams? Thanks!
So if I ate the whole bowl it would be >700 calories? Am I reading that right?
Never mind I see now that itโs 2 servings when you follow the recipe. Got confused.
1st time ever making overnight oats. Used 1 whole banana and 1 T mixed seeds. (Chia flax hemp) sooooo good
YES! Welcome to the world of overnight oats! SO GOOD.
What does it meant that the nutrition facts are without the toppings? Does that mean just the oat base without the peanut butter, bananas, etc.?
Everything in the recipe card is accounted for. It means the nutrition does not count the toppings I have in the photogram (blog of pb, extra banana, etc!).
